The 200 West Welbourne Avenue Office Building began its redevelopment with a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, June 19, at 2 p.m. in downtown Winter Park. The current 45-year-old facility will undergo a $2.5 million makeover over a six-month period to become the headquarters for Fiction (FCTN), a full-service creative agency. In an ongoing effort to hire local, FCTN has retained ACi and Lamm & Company Partners to complete this renovation project.
ACi, Winter Park Mayor Ken Bradley, Orange County Commissioner Bill Segal and other Winter Park city officials joined FCTN to celebrate the beginning of this transformation, which will result in a state-of-the-art facility in Winter Park’s central business district.
Mayor Bradley said, “We are proud that Fiction has chosen Winter Park as their home and we are anxious to see this project become a work of art to house creative high-tech digital media professionals. We look forward to this partnership and to many more partnerships with companies like them in our city.”
