Maitland Fire Station 45

Maitland Fire Station is a  three stories high fire and rescue station proudly protects Downtown Maitland and connected to the newly designed city hall. This neo-traditional architectural design frames Packwood Avenue with a truly handsome and functional building.

Every effort has been made to preserve the existing trees on the site including the “Century Oak” which has been incorporated into the landscape plan.

The project saves approximately $28,000 in annual rent and provide for much greater department efficiency. The station is designed with much-needed drive-through bays for the Fire Department’s vehicles providing better vehicle circulation and easier access. The new building has more comfortable and soundproof living facilities for the firefighters, as well as upgraded meeting and training facilities including an outside rappelling area that will be incorporated into the roof structure.
