Herbst Residence 

Herbst Residence is a modern designed household designed to highlight the owner’s extensive art and sculpture collection located in Winter Park. Sitting on an urban 75’x145’ lot located in an existing community the decision to create a two-story U-shaped home with visual all directions facing the bamboo screened in courtyard.

Pulling inspiration from Cubist Art, the Herbst Residence features glass block and white translucent glass to provide natural light throughout the house and pool house. The composition and layout of the house are meant to be an informal, playful and relaxing.
