Downtown Orlando Cambria Suites

Downtown Cambria Suites is located on Lake Eola’s western edge, ACi Architects was selected to design a new 150-key high-touch service and peak efficiency all-suite hotel that serves a growing niche demand in downtown Orlando. A highly collaborative effort with the branding operator/owner/developer, and city of Orlando produced a contemporary, transitional style of architecture. The building form retreats from the site’s southern edge respecting the community’s view of distinctive architecture of the Greek Orthodox Church. A vertical design element at the corner of the site acts as a “lantern” that integrates and distinguishes the building and site well. The hotel program includes a high-bay lobby, restaurant, pool, spa/fitness center, business services and an integrated 100 car-parking garage.
